My mom was just here - she severely broke her shoulder but they didn't do anything to fix it. She had anemia, they didn't bother figuring out why or treating it. The x-ray recommended a CT scan, but they didn't do it. They felt there was an abnormality with her carotid arteries, and said they'd do a carotid ultrasound, but they never did it. On her chest x-ray, they noted an enlarged heart, but they never worked her up for it and never discussed it with us. The notes also discuss serious kidney damage, but no one discussed it with us. I had to do my own detective work to find this out in her chart.
I had a great experience. They were a little slow at first in the emergency room but once they got things rolling it was nice. The doctor was prompt and did a great service with me. They did all they could to resolve what was wrong with me. Thank you for a great job
My 82 year old mother fell and hit her head and suffered a severe head injury. My 90 year old father drove her to St. John's where she was admitted to the ICU. She stayed in the hospital for 12 days before going to a long term care hospital. The staff at St. John's took excellent care of her! The nurses and nurse assistants were kind and compassionate, my mom's sitters really pampered her as well. I am a practice nurse in Grand Rapids and highly recommend St. John's hospital.
Never experienced so much disrespect IN A HOSPITAL!!!! Everyone walks by you like you don’t exist, they sit and stare at you, been in the waiting room for 3 hours now like how in the world is this place still open?? There’s no way on earth the nurses and doctors here actually have degrees. If you ask me they started out as techs and just got promoted. No one knows what they’re doing. They’re treating me in a freaking hallway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone please shut this place down
If i have extra ⭐ i will give to all the Dr, the 2nurse and two staff ( two at A1and two at A23) and X-ray who take care to me when i come to EMERGENCY FOR ALLERGIES REACTION. They are very nice to take me. It still itching and my hand still numb. But it feeling better then when i am coming hospital. Thanks you so much. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
