Horrible school. Once they made it open district it went completely down hill. If you have any kind of ailment DO NOT GO TO FITZ. They will not help you nor let you stay in school. The teachers talk down to the kids with ailments and single them out infront of the entire class. The principal doesn't care about the students. The superintendent is the RUDEST person on the planet. How she is still working there with the way she talks to parents is beyond me. Also last but not least. The boys are allowed to sexually harass the girls and absolutely nothing is done about it. Every year for 4 years boys constantly sexually harassed my daughter, telling her they wanted to eat her butt and talked about her bust. The principal did absolutely nothing about it. This school has become so ghetto and horrible. It should go back to closed district or be shut down.
Fitzgerald is a wonderful school that turns out writers , lawyers , doctors , artists , business owners, teachers, and critical thinkers!
I would recommend this school to anyone who would like their child to be a citizen of the world as well as respectful and a person with integrity. I have nothing but PRIDe for my Spartan alumni and fellow Spartan's #SpartanPride.
I graduated from Fitzgerald,and have been asked on many occasions if I went to a private or boarding school, because my education is top notch. My child could have went to any school I CHOSE Fitz because it is on the cutting edge of learning and is always looking for new ideas to stay that way.
They do not allow sexual harassment of any sexes and , never have!
The superintendent has the kids and the community's best interests at heart imo,and if spoken with her on a few occasions and we not always have seen eye to eye, but i've always left knowing the exchange of ideas was a good one. Life is not easy and Fitzgerald prepares the kids for living a full productive life not a life that kicks you around.
I Love this school!! I graduated in 2016 and I have had so many great experiences here!!! The teachers are all awesome and unique in their own way and they are passionate about what they do. So it's always easy to learn and get help if you need it!! Also, I absolutely love the community feel of Fitzgerald because it made us more like a big family
In no way do the teachers talk down to the children. My son who has an IEP , the teachers and support staff are doing everything in their power to help my son,as he's trying to transition out of SE.
College was so much easier because of the wonderful education I received and the teachers that guided me.
This school is a community and the teachers are fantastic you get out what you put in! Much like life!
